 What is the meaning of 1 square foot?

  1 square foot represent the area of any object.

If I talk about my field perspective view i.e. construction it represents the area of land /plot etc. Area is calculate in terms of square.

1 foot =12 inches

Now ,1 square foot i.e. 12″×12″ inches .

Which is also equal to 144 square inches or say 1 square foot.

We can say that 1 square foot represent two dimension specially (length and width). When we multiply to each other we got area of the respective object in the given dimension.

In other point of view it may be length = 12 inches and width =12inches og any object.
