a. The first theme of Peter is the comfort and encouragement of Christ. Peter was writing this near his crucifixion, so he was finding his comfort and encouragement in Christ while writing it.


b. The second topic Peter talks about it the Glory of Salvation. This is the glory that is to come and the goodness that comes through the salvation of Christ.


c. Thirdly, he talks about the believer as pilgrim. This is when he talks about living your life out practically as a Christian.


d. Lastly, Paul talks about Following Christ. In this section he defines himself as an eyewitness to Jesus and his accounts while following Him.
