what is the difference between protosome and deuterstome?
1) In protostome: mouth develops first (pro=first stome= mouth), anus develops second
BUT
In deuterstome: mouth develops second, anus develops first
2) Protostome= are spiral cleavage and determinant (cell already assigned a role, e.g. part of the gut)
BUT
In deuterstome= radial cleavage and indeterminent --> (can become any type of cell)
3) Protostome= Coelom forms by splitting (schizocoelous)
but
in Deuterstome= coelom forms by outpocketing (entercoelous)
4) Protostome produce mosaic embryo]
but
in Deuterstome, produces normal larvae
