Nahir Galarza was born on September 11, 1998, the daughter of Yamina Kroh and Marcelo Galarza, who worked as a provincial police officer. At the time of the event, Nahir was in his first year of Law at the University of Concepción del Uruguay.6
When she was 16 years old, there was a kidnapping report after she disappeared one day when she was a minor, but later it would be discovered that the alleged kidnapping was a farce.
The Nahir Galarza Case refers to the judicial process defined as "Galarza, Nahir Mariana doubly aggravated homicide",1 in which Nahir Mariana Galarza (b. September 11, 1998) was accused of the murder of Fernando Pastorizzo that occurred on December 29 2017 in the city of Gualeguaychú, province of Entre Ríos, Argentina, where both lived.2
The case had a lot of repercussion both in the national and international media.345
Galarza was sentenced in the first instance to life imprisonment for homicide, aggravated by the circumstance of having maintained a stable relationship. She is the youngest woman to have been sentenced to life in prison in Argentina.
